"The care I received was exemplary"

About: Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead) / Maxillo-Facial surgery

(as the patient),

I feel very lucky that my dentist referred me to QVH to have a problematic tooth extracted under general anaesthetic recently. From the initial referral process, consultation, pre-assessment screening and surgery itself, the care I received was exemplary and of the highest quality right the way through; I don't think I could have received better care in the private health sector. The nursing staff, anaesthetist and surgeons were all incredibly kind, compassionate and reassuring, answering all my questions and alleviating my concerns. I wish to thank everyone on the maxillofacial department for their commitment to upholding the core principles that the NHS were founded upon.
