"What a fabulous service with a fantastic team"

My dad  had ongoing health issues post contacting Covid, resulted in Pnemonia, a stroke and fast Atrial Fibrilation.

All health care professionals we came into contact were lovely and helpful, however we utilised Hospital at Home for the Clydesdale area.

What a fantastic service, the team who came into my dad went above and  beyond with the excellent care they gave him. It was great to have direct contact with the team if issues should arrive.

I did contact them twice and both times the issues with my dad's health were dealt with, one advanced nurse practitioner even went to the chemist enroute to collect the digoxin that was prescribed by the consultant that day. She also examined my dad as I was concerned about hid new leg oedema and continuing shortness of breath.

All the team that attended my dad we very kind and were lovely to my dad, mum and myself, taking time to listen to us all. The team was a god send to us at a difficult time, they did everything in their remit to try and let my dad stay at home, alas dad became too unwell and did have to go to hospital to be monitored closely for the ongoing care he would need.

I wouldn't hesitate to utilise this service again should the care ever arise again. Once again what a fabulous service with a fantastic team, we cannot thank them enough.
