"Excellent care and communication!"

I was attending Craigavon area hospital for an elective tonsillectomy on S4. The lovely staff nurse who was caring for me, Lucy, cared for me throughout the day in a professional and compassionate way. I am only 20 years old so it was lovely to have a young nurse look after me. Lucy gave me reassurance and encouragement and always explained what was happening. This made me feel less anxious and made the procedure much easier. 

The staff were all very professional and caring and I feel so lucky to have been under the care of so many wonderful people. From the pharmacist, the surgeon and the anaesthetist… they were all so caring and professional. Well done Southern health and social care trust!
