About: Modality Partnership

i was referred for a lower abdomen ultrasound. after waiting for six months, i finally got my chance to get the scan done. when I reached the centre (nishkam pharmacy on soho road, twenty-fourth february at ten), i was told there will be an ultrasound scan as well as an intravaginal scan.

i asked for some time to think about it. the lady who was doing my scan kept saying 'you don't have to do it, you don't have to do it'. when she started doing my ultrasound in the mean time, she said my bladder should have been more full. i said I can wait for a few minutes while she attends to other patients but she said she will not do that. she also said I should not have had coffee before coming for my scan. there was no mention of that in the text message i was sent before the scan.

i begged her to give me some time as i was worried about my health and waited 6 months for my scan. cruelly, she turned me away. when i asked her to do my intra vaginal scan atleast, she said she had closed the screen and could not go back to it.

what kind of service is this? aren't you supposed to be a little empathetic towards the patients? when i contacted Nishkam later, they asked me to write to you guys. i am a tax paying citizen of this country and i expected better. her behaviour was so crushing for my pride that i am forced to write this.

i request you to investigate this and let me know if i have to wait another six months for my scan.
