In the early hours of wednesday morning I fell on the way to the bathroom, and was unable to regain my footing due to my MS. My son was asleep upstairs, but I was reluctant to disturb him. Eventually I had to call him to help. He was unable to help as I am a large lady, and I had no strength.
Eventually we had to call for an ambulance und Gian from the urgent community response team came with a nurse called Lucy, and a marvellous machine to get me off of the floor. They checked me over thoroughly to make sure I was ok before getting me off the floor using the lifting chair.
They were really brilliant. So good.
Mark phoned the next day to make sure I was still ok and to give me their telephone number in case I needed their help in the future.
They were all so good.
"They were really brilliant"
