"Good time out"

About: Arnold Lodge Regional Secure Unit

(as a service user),

Today I have been out on leave and I went with a member of gym staff called Lorrain we went together to Abby Park, we walked around and seen some lakes and ducks and swans and also we went to the bird aviaries where I saw chickens, rabbits a goat, guinea pigs and even some peacocks, the colours on the birds was amazing bright blues and very illuminating green on the chin and chest. We walked around and we went to a sensory garden opened by a MP many years ago. When we were ready we went to a café and had a drink and it was nice to be outside and in the community, I feel like I was in the community and it was nice to see other people enjoying the beautiful park area. I hope to go again in one week and do some running around on the circular track.

Just wanted to say thank you to NHS and Arnold Lodge staff (gym) for making this happen. Thank you!

This is so beautiful to read and l want to appreciate you for taking time to write your feedback. It is encouraging to know that this is appreciated and l will mention this to Lorraine too, l am sure she will be encouraged. All the best as you continue working hard and l trust the team will continue to put more activities to help with future reintegration into the community.
