"During my stay I have felt like a human being"

About: Bassetlaw Hospice

(as a service user),

On arrival I was in incredible pain. The person booking me in asked about me to understand what I wanted to try and achieve. Which was so well received.

All discussions have been open and honest. During my stay I have felt like a human being and not just a number. The personal touch is all around me. From the person who cleans my room, brings my food, tends to my well being, nurses me and spends time with me.

There is nothing more you can all do. Thank you for everything.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. This really means a lot to us all to know that you have felt well looked after, seen and heard.

Over the past year or so, we have been learning about spirituality and how to integrate that into our every day work. Spirituality is all about learning what is important to you and how we can help you achieve your goals and it is great to hear that you have felt that this is displayed in the work of all members of the team.

Thank you once again for this positive feedback.
