About: Paediatrics / Oak Ward

(as a parent/guardian),

The food is very bland and boring. My daughter did not enjoy the majority of the meals provided. I was offered a meal on the ward and can understand why she had been complaining about the food.

I wanted to reassure you that we are constantly looking at the options and variety of food we offer the children and young people in Hospital. I have reminded all staff about the importance of making families aware that we offer hot and cold options to includes a variety of finger foods at meal times. We also keep a stock of Sandwiches, Bread, snacks and hot food options here on the unit that can be accessed at any time 24 hours a day.
