I was in immense pain with a frozen shoulder and called GP Out of Hours who advised me to call the Urgent Care Centre after 9am. They offered me an appointment directly that same morning, and the care I got was fantastic.

The guys at reception were very helpful and friendly, and I got seen by physio Aoife who was just brilliant. She was very helpful and interested. She organised an x-ray very quickly and was there less than an hour later to give me results and organise follow-up advice and care including a prescription for pain medication. She also didn’t mind my sister sitting in to hear the results. I could not praise her enough.

This Urgent Care Centre is fantastic. I am so so grateful for the excellent and very timely care provided. Staff there are superstars. Huge huge thanks.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the care you received through the Urgent Care Centre.

We are delighted that your experience has been a positive one. I am pleased to hear that Urgent (GP) Out Of Hours directed you appropriately to contact Phone First and you were given a prompt and effective appointment with Aoife, our Advanced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist.

It is lovely to hear that you found reception staff to be helpful and friendly and that you found Aoife to be helpful and interested. We are so privileged to have a job where we can care for people and make a difference.

I will have already shared your very kind words with Aoife and the rest of the team - we really appreciate them. We are very lucky to have a great team in Urgent Care and it is lovely to have their hard work recognised.
