(as the patient),

Yesterday a member of staff that is extremely experienced said that they wanted to move off brecon ward. This has concerned me because they have been the backbone of this ward since i moved on here in 2016. This staff member has always been positive and always there for not only myself as a patient but towards the whole of the brecon team.

I know staff move all the time but this staff member has been the person everyone over the years has relied on. Every ward manager has always gone to him because he knows how to do everything so I am concerned to be losinng another valued experienced member of staff and what it might do to morale.

Hello

I fully appreciate and acknowledge the care and support this staff member has offered to Brecon ward over the years.

Brecon ward is having some changes to the staffing team, to support those who wish to have a change, however other experienced staff remain on the ward who you will know, and there are experienced staff who are wanting to join the team, which I hope in the future you will build equally good therapeutic relationships with.
