"Extremely upsetting 1st time mother"

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

I would give a 0 if I could. I had my first baby at this hospital just 5 months ago, the whole experience has been horrific, whilst pregnant triage was disgusting I had to wait a whole day and night on a plastic chair to be seen by a doctor, night & day shift nurses wouldn't even do a handover. When I had my baby by emergency c section, my baby was not even put on my chest, I asked the doctor can I see my baby,he voiced to the operation doctors if I can see my baby no response. They put my baby on the table to be cleaned. When I came to the recovery waiting for a bed for hours. I asked about breast feeding a young nurse came and put baby on my chest, I asked how to feed she literally put the baby on my nipple, obviously now I know that's not the way, then baby was crying she took my baby and started flicking her sharp nails at the bottom of my babies feet he cried in distress, I started shouting stop doing that, I will take action against this. Later when taken to maternity omg the nurses are like headless chickens, no one came to even check if my baby done his first poo, no one showed Me how to breast feed, wen asked they just couldn't be bothered and gave me bottles. Then after a major emergency c section they dismissed me home next day. I came home that evening and fainted on the floor. No first time mothers should be treated this way, extremely upsetting
