"I felt very well looked after"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

First point of contact was Lesley, the receptionist, who was friendly and polite. Full marks. Often the receptionist is the first face patients see in their journey so it's very reassuring to be greeted by a friendly, efficient member of staff.

I was asked to take a seat and was seen quickly by nurse practitioner followed by consultant. Both were very friendly and professional. Worked quickly but with care and I felt very well looked after. Reassured with clear advice on what to look out for and advised if I need to return for further care not to hesitate.
