"I felt safe in their hands"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Cataract Unit

(as a service user),

I was admitted to cataract dept. at Queen Margaret hospital Dunfermline in Feb 2024.

I was greeted by friendly staff who explained the procedure and administered pre-op drops etc.  The surgeon explained the procedure and I felt safe in their hands. Four days on from the procedure and I feel happy with the result & received good aftercare. I was able to follow the eye drop regime and post-op instructions.

I visited minor injuries the next day and was reassured all was to be expected.  I would recommend having this surgery here.  Great team at Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline.
