"The patient care could not have been better"

About: Post-Menopausal Bleeding Specialist Nurses

(as the patient),

I went to the post menopausal bleeding clinic and was seen by Sonya and Donna who restored my faith in the gynaecology department at PRI.

The last time I went I had a procedure which left me traumatised due to the way the doctor dealt with it, but this time everything was explained and the patient care could not have been better.

Firstly, please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your feedback.

I wish to thank you for sharing your experience, I am sorry that your initial interactions with the Gynaecology service left you traumatised. This certainly is not what we aim to deliver to our patients, as we do appreciate how daunting these types of appointments can be without having had a previously negative episode, so it is always satisfying when we restore a person's faith in the service, and I am glad we have been able to do that for you..

We strive to provide an environment which is comfortable and feels safe for our patients and that they feel included and listened to, and I am happy that this happened for you.

I will share your feedback with Sonya, Donna and the rest of the team and I wish you well for the future.
