"Aortic valve replacement surgery "

I had an aortic valve replacement surgery at Harefield Hospital on 30th November 2023.

I had the most wonderful experience from the medical teams and care staff.

The surgeon that completed the procedure was a highly skilled cardiothoracic surgeon which is evident in the result of the surgery. It’s well over 8 weeks gone and I don’t even have a scar as a result which is rare from this type of surgery.

From the moment I woke up in ITU I felt absolutely amazing aside from normal pain expected from such a procedure.

I would highly recommend this hospital for such treatment.

In addition, all the other doctors , nurses, other medical staff, admin, kitchen and cleaning staff were very courteous, respectful and expressed empathy. My experience from start to finish was unparalleled within the NHS.
