About: Maternity care / Antenatal and Postnatal (Ward 38) Maternity care / Community Midwifery Unit Maternity care / Maternity & Paediatric Theatres Ninewells Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the maternity care team in Ninewells hospital. 

I would like to start with my amazing midwife Louise - thank you for taking such a good care of me during my pregnancy and after labour. She also visited me at the ward to come and ask how I am. 

Thank you to all team from ward 38 south - you have been truly amazing from the start to finish. Always there to answer any question and helped me after my C-section when I was really struggling for the first few hours. 

Thank you to all maternity theatre team - I would love to remember all of your names to thank every single one of you. Even that this was my second C-section I was very stressed and terrified. You have assured me everything was going to be alright and giving me some extra time and space to calm down. 

This has been a journey to remember !

I wish to congratulate you on the birth of your beautiful new baby, I hope you are all settling in at home and enjoying the excitement a new baby and sibling brings to the family.

I am delighted to hear your experience during your maternity journey within all our teams was to your expectations and provided you with the support and guidance for you to feel you could make the best choices for you and your baby throughout your antenatal, birth and posnatal journey.

We strive to ensure we can provide an individualised, women centred support for all our families, and I am thrilled we have succeeded for you and your family. We understand the influence and the positive impact this has for you and your family, in terms of your current wellbeing and longterm health.

I wish to thank you for taking the time to share this wonderful feedback, it is so invaluable to our teams and service, to understand the successes within our provision and any direction for future progress. I will be honoured to share this feedback across our wider service.
