"Finger Surgery"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I attended the Day Surgery Unit of Queen Margaret Hospital for surgery on my index finger. This was my first time having any sort of medical procedure and I was instantly impressed with how friendly everyone was and the cleanliness of the unit.

Kirstin looked after me and gave me a good idea of how my day would go as well as some welcome social chat to settle any nerves I had!

I really appreciated the before and after explanations from the surgeons, a crystal clear description of the plan, followed by an equally clear explanation of what was actually done during my surgery.

I was constantly updated and knew what was happening at every stage, there were no surprises.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the entire process,
