"My overall experience of the various departments I dealt with was brilliant"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency North Devon District Hospital / Medical Assessment Unit North Devon District Hospital / Ophthalmology North Devon District Hospital / Radiology (X-ray)

(as the patient),

Experienced an excellent session with Susan as part of Orthoptics clinic. She was very knowledgeable and understanding.

Then passed to Dr Jawad of Opthalmology clinic, he again was very knowledgeable and thorough.

Moved on to Medical via A&E, more tests (all good) then waited for CT Scan, too late in the day for a scan so went home after a very long day.

Called to SDEC, excellent facility and lovely staff. Called for scan but first machine did not work (surprising for a district hospital, no supports on a Sat). Second machine OK and operator excellent. Got results about 2 hours later (all good).

Already have date for my next appointment with eye clinic.

Apart from long/tiring days, my overall experience of the various departments I dealt with was brilliant.
