"Role modelling of compassionate care was evident"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a service user),

Was in K North for 3 days following elective surgery. The whole team, nurses, support workers, surgeons, medical staff, physios, OTs,  domestic and portering staff were all amazing. Every encounter, despite how busy the ward was, started with a smile and how can I help. Role modelling of compassionate care was evident in every interaction.  Thank you SCN Teresa and your team.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was pleased to read the care and treatment you received from all our staff has been to a high standard and you felt well cared for.

It was very encouraging to hear how the staff made you feel welcome and showed compassionate and empathetic care throughout your stay. This must have been a huge comfort to you.

I will be happy to pass on your thanks to Teresa and the team who I'm sure will be touched to hear you had such a positive experience while under their care.

I hope your feeling a lot better and recovering well back at home.
