I feel this service is money based, not patient based. It seems patients health comes last. Everybody has the same number of sessions and this number is capped.
They made me pick one aspect to work on. Not to solve the whole problem because there is no time for that according to the therapist. No matter your issues everybody gets the same number of sessions. After that, they discharge you based on the number of sessions. No matter how you feel or if they have help you solve anything.
The worst part of this is that I am here because of the harm NHS staff have caused me and they discharged me because they can not solve the harm they have done in the time they have decided.
The therapist told me to continue the sessions in a private hospital with them, obviously paying for more sessions because I was in the middle of the therapy and it was not solved. The other option I was given was to wait 3 months and do a self referral again and I will be assigned a different therapist and will have to start again from the beginning after 3 months.
This is how they work. Insane right?
