"Staff were friendly and very supportive"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

I would like to pass on my thanks to all the staff at A&E Glasgow Royal Infirmary for the care that my mum received following a fall at home. Both medical, nursing and imaging staff were friendly, very supportive and offered a very efficient service.  My mum, who has mild dementia, was put at ease by all involved. 

She was treated quickly and discharged home later in the day.

Please pass on my thanks to all involved.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was delighted to hear the care and treatment your mum received from the staff within the A&E Department was to a high standard and she felt well cared for.

It was great to hear how the staff took the time to make your mum feel comfortable and relaxed throughout her stay, in what must have been a very worrying time for you all.

I will be happy to pass on your thanks to the team who I'm sure will be touched to receive such glowing feedback.

I hope your mum is feeling a lot better and recovering well back at home.
