"Staff were very welcoming and professional"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Accidents & Emergency

(as a service user),

Was feeling very unwell with ongoing problems with a hiatus hernia.

Staff were very welcoming and professional.

A&E is always a busy place and I was there for quite some hours but I was comfortable and was seen by staff regularly during my stay. I was also given a recall for a further scan in a few days' time.

I felt that all staff wanted to help me get a resolution to my health concerns in a very timely manner.

I had a very positive experience. I’d also like to mention that I visited the hospital canteen before going home at dinner time and had a very wholesome, reasonably priced meal,  which saved me having to cook and allowed me to put my feet up when I got home,
