(as a relative),

The palliative care service for my husband has been FANTASTIC.

Our GP Dr Hamilton very quickly put everything in place for my husband to be cared for at home.

2 unfortunate admissions to QEU hospital were tough...long waiting times in assessment units with little done to help situation. Hosp under immense pressure. They did their best. Home was better.

Admission to Beatson Cancer Care was a different story. Excellent!

Care and assessments from hospice nurse, dietician, OT and district nurses also excellent. My husband's regular DN is Gary from Eastwoodmains practice. He is superb. 

He is making sure that  everything that can be done, is being done and that I, his wife and carer, have access to all tel numbers should I need more advice or help.

We have no complaints, whatsoever, with care in the community.

On rereading my post, I omitted to include the Oncology Team at the clinic at the New Victoria Hospital. Excellent care and attention. Thank you to all.
