"Unhappy with service to date"

About: Inclusion Visions Thurrock (Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service)

(as a service user),

I found the service is not person centred. My key worker never turned up they were alays off sick. I complained to a manager and got a new key worker, the manager said things have improved. I was not given the right information regarding my medication. I have looked to NHS 111 to seek more help and to change the service. I would not recommend to anyone to access this service. Im here for my appointment today but i do feel trapped as there is nowhere else.

First of all I would like to thank you for taking the time to give us feedback of your experience with Visions, it is a really useful way of us finding out how we can make improvements.

I am really sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience, I am sure it was frustrating and disappointing when your key worker did not keep the appointments, and receiving the wrong information about your medicines. This should not have happened. I do hope you are having a better experience with your new key worker.

I see that you are still receiving a service from Visions, but have concerns about your medication, and would like to change service. My worry is that these concerns will affect your wellbeing and recovery journey.

I would love to hear more about what has gone wrong, so that I can make changes to avoid others having the same experience, and to reassure you so that you can begin to build a more positive relationship with the service.
