"Wrist surgery under anaesthetic"

About: Victoria Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I broke my wrist and required surgery, I was admitted to ward 33 at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.

I wanted to say a massive thank you to the surgeons and the anaesthetists & also the young staff nurse who helped ease my major anxiety.

I had horrific anxiety before being put to sleep but the anaesthetist explained everything to me and made me feel much calmer,  they were extremely friendly, professional and explained everything that was happening before I dropped off to sleep!

I wish I could remember their names so they could get the credit they deserve. Thank you once again for all involved in my care!
