"Staff took great care and time to explain"

About: Belfast Health & Social Care Trust / Diabetic Eye Screening

(as a relative),

Accompanied my dad who has dementia to his Diabetic Eye screening appointment at Bradbury Wellbeing Centre.

Greeted immediately by Adrian who took great care and time to explain and to apply dad’s eye drops.

It can be challenging for people with dementia at such appointments so Adrian’s approach, friendliness and patience was very much appreciated.

Hi Tangocgf79,

I am delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience whilst accompanying your father to his appointment,

We at the Diabetic Eye Screening Programme welcome feedback and it is always great to hear that we are meeting peoples expectations as a service.

I will pass on your kind words to Adrian and the other members of the team & we hope to see you again!

Regards

Conor Stewart
