"Antenatal education zoom classes"

I attended the Getting Ready for Baby, Hypnobirthing, and Breastfeeding zoom classes run by the Southern Trust in January and February 2024. Nora and Karolina were brilliant – very personable and encouraging and full of vital information. Some of the information was familiar to me from other sources, but there were tonnes of details that I hadn't heard before. I appreciate the midwives putting so much effort into engaging us in the zoom classes, even though their audience probably feels quite distant from them at times. Gemma was also present in a few of the classes and she was very good at encouraging us to take control of our journey and ask questions about our care, and not to just passively go along with things if we're not sure.

I wasn't able to attend the first classes in early January, so it was really convenient that I was able to pick up things in February to cover what I missed as well.

Thank you to Nora, Karolina, and Gemma – I feel prepared for my baby's arrival and I'm looking forward to putting what I've learned into practice for me and my baby's benefit.
