About: Surgical Outpatients / Breast Clinic

(as a service user),

Attending for a mammogram at ninewells hospital, I felt as most people do, awkward, exposed and vulnerable.

However, the person doing this for me was extremely professional, explaining what she was doing every step of the way. I was seen in a timely manner and was greeted at reception by a pleasant friendly face.

So, thank you both, it does make a difference and you're doing a job.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so glad that you had such a positive care experience and that you felt comfortable throughout your consultation as well as feeling welcomed to the area.

We will review the gowns that are currently provided and will offer an alternative option of a longer surgical gown if future patients would prefer this.

I will ensure that this feedback is passed on to the Breast Care Team as well as the reception staff within our area.
