"Husband had fall"

About: Physiotherapy - South Ayrshire University Hospital Ayr / Geriatric Assessment

(as a relative),

He came home from hospital after a fall and his mobility was very poor. Lisa from the Intermediate Care Team came round daily to provide physio. This has helped improve his mobility tremendously. Lisa not only provided physical therapy but was a huge help in giving my husband and I confidence and advice on continuing his exercises and being able to get up and down into his chair. Lisa was so kind, chatty and such a caring person. Many thanks to all the team, they are a credit to the NHS

Dear StevieBet

Thank you for taking the time to share your care experience with us via Care Opinion.

I am glad to hear that in the Intermediate Care Team have been able to provide your husband with such person centred support and that his confidence and mobility has improved tremendously as a result.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and their loved ones and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team and in particular with Lisa. She will be delighted to know that you felt so well supported by her.

Please accept my best wishes for your husband’s ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind Regards

Pamela
