I was referred to the Physical Activity Coach Joe Sirichas in autumn 2023 following my stem Cell transplant in the Belfast City Hospital. I commenced Joe's online exercise class and completed the 12 week programme recently. I did most of the programme online while I was recovering from the stem cell transplant.
Joe got me moving and definitely helped me regain my strength and energy following my treatment. His online sessions were invaluable to me as I was unable to leave home for a number of weeks following my treatment. Without Joe's online classes I would have vegetated at home as I would not have had the motivation or commitment to do the exercises. I felt my strength returning slowly and felt safe in that Joe was supervising my progress and encouraging me. I completed the programme with a few face to face sessions in the Macmillan centre which were also excellent and marked further improvement for me which was encouraging.
