Sister Hood was the person who diagnosed me with a rheumatology condition 5 years ago. I was at a very low ebb and feeling like I was going crazy with symptoms that came and went and moved around different parts of my body. She is a fantastic listener and took me seriously, and started treatment immediately. Ever since I have found her to be patient and kind with a condition that I’m sure is difficult for staff to work with. I’ll be forever grateful for her and her knowledge and kindness. Five star review!

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your experience of attending the Rheumatology Department of the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

I was pleased to read the care and treatment you received from our staff, especially Sister Hood, has been to a high standard and you felt well cared for throughout your visits.

I can only begin to imagine your relief at finally being diagnosed and being provided the support you need. This must be a huge weight of your shoulders.

I have passed on your thanks to Sister Hood and the team who have asked me to thank you for your kind words. It really means a lot.

I hope your treatment continues to go well and you feel a lot better for it.
