After an unexplained fall at home my mum had to attend A&E at the RAH in Paisley. This was her first time attending A&E at the grand old age of over 80.
As a family we just want to thank all of the staff for their professionalism, care and transparent communication during the course of her journey through an emergency admission. My sister was there for the first part so unfortunately I can't name the staff who helped initially. I took over for the evening shift so would like to thank Dr Thomas and nurses Liam and Siobhan for looking after mum so well.
From A&E she proceeded to AMU where nurse Gemma settled her in and where mum tells us she was looked after very well until her discharge the next day.
I understand how pressured the NHS is, particularly acute services and despite this we experienced a very good service. Thank you all.
"Looked after very well"
