I am writing to complain about my current stay in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. I have been in the medical day since last Tuesday. We are now on Friday and I am still in one of the day unit beds.
I have no privacy in this unit and there is no hygiene facilities to have a shower and I also need to use a shared WC etc. I have been made aware that I should only be in here for up to 48 hrs max but unfortunately we are now over this.
There have been other patients also brought in and moved to their ward on the same day or the day after. I would appreciate if someone would get back to me asap about this to provide me with my own room up in a ward.
