I unfortunately suffered a missed miscarriage and wanted the midwife's that looked after me at the EPU in RAH maternity to know how much I appreciate all there work they done. Especially the SCN of EPU for taking the time to phone the Dr to explain the process and procedure I was going to have as I was absolutely terrified of it all. The two student nurse's who were there also were fantastic so friendly and a massive shout to midwife Elizabeth who made me feel so well looked after. She took the time to help me calm down with breathing techniques, took the time to explain again what would happen and also took the time to listen to me and my husband and comfort us both. It's people like this that really made the experience a lot less scary for us. We couldn't thank them enough.
