"Removal of basal cell carcinoma on neck"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Surgical Skin Team

(as a service user),

I noticed a strange “spot” on my neck and visited my doctor’s surgery and was referred to  Dr Leman (consultant dermatologist at Stirling Community Hospital) who carried out  a thorough investigation and arranged to have it excised (and prescribed treatment for Actinic Keratosis).

Today I visited Forth Valley Day Surgery Unit at Larbert and had the carcinoma removed by Nurse David assisted by nurse Linda. The process was clearly explained and expertly and painlessly carried out.

The treatment was first class from start to finish and I would like to express my appreciation for  a job expertly done.

Many thanks to all concerned.

Dear Norman,

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback about our team.

It is great to hear that you felt the treatment was first class.

Hopefully the area on your neck is healing well and you didn't feel too uncomfortable afterwards.

All the best

David
