I found the bereavement service to be initially very helpful with the practical side of a bereavement.
However, I probably got more from the check up phone calls made to me. It was an opportunity to vent, and get advice in moving forward.
The sessions filled a gap when i most needed them. They made me make sense of the things that were important. Together with helping me organise things in my head, instead of them swimming around.
I would like to say, thank you.
I am beginning to feel better, and achieve my best normal after a difficult year.
