I had a fall and was in hospital for a few days - which was a truly appalling experience. I was desperate to get back home, where I have a carer to help me.
After a few days I was told that I was being put on a virtual ward where they would visit and monitor me every day for a couple of weeks at home.
The nurses, physios and occupational therapists who came were all so helpful. I think the virtual ward is a brilliant service.
