2023 January - Emergency ambulance to Treliske. Early morning, the ambulance only took 20 minutes to get to me. Diagnosed Acute Necrotic Pancreatitis. By 8am I was on SDSA ward where I stayed for 3 weeks, then onto Pendennis ward for 1 week. Nursing staff, Doctors and Consultants were all amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. I had numerous scans, ECGs, consultations and physio.
2024 had to go back to SDSA on 18th January due to further issue of large pseudocyst which required draining, kept in, moved to Pendennis Ward again, diagnosed, scans done and procedure carried out and discharged 23rd January. Again all staff were amazing, especially Staff Nurse Laura & AP Kolombo.
"All staff were amazing"
