"Second to non service, staff and care"

About: Barnsley Hospital

I was admitted early to maternity services as my baby decided to arrive prematurely as a result of placental bleeding. From the ambulance service to the staff on arrival to the staff who brought toast- the care was incredible. I was well informed at every step of my journey from the consultant, anaesthetist, midwives, auxiliary staff, every single one was respectful, supportive and determined to ensure I had the best possible care and I can not thank them enough for the service they gave to myself and my daughter to ensure her safe arrival. I really was in the best hands of care and doubt I would have received better care elsewhere. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us during delivery, our stay in hospital on the ward and the staff who looked after us in children’s A and E when she had Jaundice. Each one of you is incredible and we thank you!
