(as a parent/guardian),

My son has been treated on Withers Ward since 2021 and the patient care there is second to none. The whole team works hard to establish a rapport with each child and the bedside manner of nurses and doctors is outstanding. You get a real sense that this is a vocation for every member of the team and feel like your child is in very safe hands. They always take time to answer any questions and to help you as a parent trying to navigate the condition, as well looking after the child. 

This ward is an absolute credit to the NHS.

I provide education, advice and support on managing rheumatic diseases including initiation and management of disease modifying medications. I offer child and family centred support from diagnosis through to discharge or help transition into adult services.
