"A big thank you"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Ambulatory Care University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I was sent by my GP to Wishaw hospital with an abscess. First treated in SACU with antibiotics to see if surgery could be avoided, then back after the weekend to get it removed.

From the staff at SACU to the staff and doctors in day surgery they were all lovely,  professional, caring and friendly. So grateful for the teams in both departments,  big thank you to all the Staff for the care you all provided.

Dear Miss daisy,

Thank you for sharing your story on Care Opinion of University Hospital Wishaw.

It can be a worrying time attending hospital, especially if surgery is mentioned and I am so pleased to hear that our supportive and caring staff tried to avoid that route initially in your treatment. When you did need to get surgery I am pleased to hear that the staff looked after you so well. I am sure that really put you at ease.

I will pass on your kind words and feedback to both teams who I am sure will be delighted to hear about your positive experience.

I hope you are recovering well.

Kind Regards,

Jenni
