"Caring Nursing Staff"

About: Trauma & orthopaedics / Orthopaedic National Treatment Centre

(as a relative),

My mother was admitted to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy following my fathers death. She was in severe pain and did not have the full opportunity to grieve his passing. Both nurses - Stacy and Charlene from ward 33 have been a huge support in every way possible to my mother. Charlene even offered to come into work on her day off to help my mum get ready to attend the funeral. Such an an act of kindness should be acknowledged. It makes the family more settled knowing she is receiving such good care.

Dear Makeup,

Thank you so much for taking the time to give such lovely feedback during a time which must be so difficult for you and your family. We are very proud of our caring and empathetic nurses on ward 33 who often go above and beyond to give compassionate care for our patients. I will share your thoughtful feedback with our team, in particular Stacey and Charlene who I'm sure will be grateful for your lovely comments. I am glad that you have found comfort from the care given to your mum whilst she has been with us on ward 33 and hope she continues well in her recovery.

Emma Crielly, Charge Nurse, Ward 33
