"Always ready to help or give advice"

About: Medicine for the Elderly / Ward 6

(as a service user),

I was discharged after 9 weeks in ward 6. Staff were fantastic and were really supportive. They encouraged me and were always ready to help or give advice if needed, they were always happy which can't be easy in their type of job.

I would like to mention Janey (staff nurse). She is really a credit to the nursing profession, she was always there to give advice, listen to our problems and cheer us up when needed, nothing was too much trouble for her. Janey treated us all the same no matter what our problems were. I hope all wards have staff equal to these nurses. Hopefully I won't have to stay in hospital again but if I do, I hope I get looked after by Janey and the staff of ward 6.

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with such lovely feedback. The staff on ward 6 work extremely hard to make sure the same high standard of safe person centred care is delivered to each and every one of our patients.

Your feedback is invaluable and will shared with the team, in particular with Janey.
