An appointment at The Holbrook Unit, Whiston Hospital with a plastic surgeon to remove a pesky melanoma on my chest filled me with dread, but I needn't have worried.
Just wanted to convey my sincere thanks to the surgeon and all nursing staff for their warm welcome and for giving me highly professional experience. Whilst the actual procedure was unpleasant, the manner in which it was performed and how I was repeatedly kept informed, both pre and post-op was just fantastic.
Massive thanks to everyone involved and long live the NHS.
Great cups of tea, biscuits and sandwiches too!!
