I recently went into the Victoria hospital in Kirkcaldy for a procedure and the staff were amazing, from the moment I walked in.
I was a little apprehensive as they were saying I was high risk for an anaesthetic, but the surgeon said I definitely needed this tumour out.
I honestly wish I could remember the names of the staff that dealt with me , if they hadn’t been there I think I would have changed my mind and went home. Mr Mahmood was my surgeon.
After my surgery I went into high dependency and the staff there were also amazing, then up to ward 10.
There are no words worthy that can describe my time in the Victoria hospital or say how amazing the staff and surgeon was. I will never be able to thank them all enough. I hope Laura can pass on my thanks to them all.
Keep up the good work, people. Our NHS is nothing without people like you.
