About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy

(as a service user),

I was given picc line @ south I was very nervous but Pauline and Shauna put me at ease got the picc line in and I was sent home that evening. I got antibiotics everyday at my local Dr's Surgery, when I phoned OPAT for antibiotic supplies I was told that my resupply was ready and waiting to be collected. I found the whole experience an excellent way to receive IV antibiotics and I can only praise the OPAT team for working under demanding pressures within the health service.
