"Kindness"

About: General Surgery / Surgical Unit

(as the patient),

I was a patient in the Surgical Day Unit, Stracathro Hospital, Angus.

To say I was terrified would be an understatement but I received reassurance and kindness throughout,  I'm sorry I can't remember all names but Natasha was one on day duty and Ian and Gail on night.

Nothing was too much bother, from the ward nurses to anaesthesia nurses - fantastic. Anaesthesiologist was brilliant, made me laugh (that could not have been easy given how scared I was).

Nurse on ward when I asked to step outside in recovery period came with me.

Angels, everyone and I totally appreciated your kindness , empathy and humour.

With respect.
