"Two wonderful nurses"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Maternity Care (Wards 21-24)

(as the patient),

Claire and Gillian of ward 21 - were nothing but attentive to myself and partner yesterday while I went through my iron infusion at 35 and 6 weeks pregnant.

I collapsed and they were on the ball making all the right decisions for myself and baby girl.

Grateful for amazing nurses like this in our NHS.

Thanks again ladies, your care and compassion really helped with a terrible situation for myself and partner yesterday.

Again, ward 21 are always amazing and I’m forever grateful anytime I step inside.

Hi Kc27111,

Thank you for sharing your experience on Care Opinion of University Hospital Wishaw, Maternity Care.

I am so pleased to hear that you had excellent care and support from Claire and Gillian while attending the ward for your iron infusion. I am so sorry to hear of you collapsing, what a fright you must have got!

I am glad Claire and Gillian were able to help you and make the right decisions to keep you and your baby girl safe - and I am sure reassure your partner too. I will ensure the feedback is passed on to both ladies as well as the wider team and I am sure they will be very proud of how they helped you.

I hope you are feeling better now and I wish you good luck with the birth of your baby.

Kind Regards,

Jenni
