About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Hernia operation at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline. Day Surgery Unit.

Excellent experience with kind, caring staff. 

Only suggestion- when a delay was realised it would have been better managed if patients allowed to take a walk instead of sitting in a rather uncomfortable chair for 5+ hours ready stripped for operation.

Thank you for taking the time to share feedback around your recent experience at day surgery, I'm sorry you had a delay with your surgery, patients are more than welcome to have a walk around the ward area and apologise if you were not made aware of this. I'm glad to see that you found the staff kind and caring and you had an excellent experience. We wish you well in your recovery
