I arrived at the Royal Victoria Hospital with my mother, who has extremely limited mobility. As I was not able to walk her into the reception, I left her leaning against the railings (perhaps a seat or two could be made available outside the entrance!)
The receptionist on duty was extremely polite and helpful but the porter who retrieved a wheelchair for my mother and pushed her to Nuclear Medical was amazing. He was so friendly, patient, kind and thoughtful.
My mother was extremely nervous and he helped put her at her ease.
I must commend the receptionist and porter for their welcome and friendly demeanour. It was unexpected but very much appreciated.
